Dan and I went to dinner last night at a fabulous Indian restaurant. It was amazing and our date was fun. After a satisfying Cold Stone run (sinless cake batter with strawberries, yellow cake, and chocolate sprinkles mixed in), we started chatted about how our Weight Watchers experiences were going specifically at work.
We went back and forth for awhile discussing different foods that make us feel full. I recommended minestrone (pronounced how it looks: Mine-Strone) soup.
Dan: *slowly looks at me like I have a worm crawling from my nose* “You mean, minestrone (pronounced Miny-Strone-E)?”
Me: “Um, no. I meant minestrone. How it’s spelled!”
Turns out Dan was right and I feel like an idiot. I always thought it was pronounced Mine-Stone. Whatever.
Btw, I love my purse! Yes sometimes I feel that I need a strap, but I’m seriously in love.
Today, we are having a bunch of people over for July 4th. Well, I hope a bunch of people show up because wouldn’t that suck if no one showed up when they said they would? When I was little and now, my biggest fear was having a party where no one showed up. Yikes!
