I’m baaaaack

Hello!

Well, I am back from my hiatus and with a brand spankin’ new design. My friend Shannon Landis designed it for me. I really wanted something a little edgier for this blog and let’s face it, I needed something new because of my recent move to Pittsburgh. So, what have I been up to… hmm? Well, I’ve been getting acquainted with my internship and reacquainted with Pittsburgh. The last time I lived here I was 13 years old, so I haven’t experienced it as an adult before (ha, I still think it’s funny to call myself an adult).

About a month ago, I met up with some Pittsburgh bloggers. Here is a picture from that night:

It was a blast, really. Meeting them in person was a perfect way to spend one of my first weekends in the ‘burgh.

I’ve also been enjoying the culture of Pittsburgh and visiting some local art museums where I met up with this object/person…

I just had to post that picture.

One weekend, Dan and I went camping in Somerset, PA which is right between Pittsburgh and DC. Well, not exactly right between because it’s only an hour and a half for me to drive there and it takes Dan 3 and a half hours. Oh well… he can deal We were planning to rough it that weekend by sleeping in tents. However, our plans quickly changed when we checked the weather. It was bitterly cold all weekend and we stayed in a (heated) cabin instead. Despite the weather, it was so refreshing and just what we needed. The flowers were bright too.

This weekend, I’m driving to Ohio to visit my family and especially this little guy:

It’s definitely hard to write after being away from blogging for a couple weeks! I’m sure I’ll be back in my groove soon. I hope you all are well and thanks for stopping by!
