Fitbloggin 2011: Part 3

Hi all!

Have I mentioned how lovely the weather has been in Baltimore this week? It only added to the fun of last night!

Sears sponsored the Fitbloggin Social. There were small appetizers and drinks. Not a lot of food, but enough for a social! Here’s Katy and I:

Here I am with Mara and Julianne (roomie!). During the 5K, with about 10 minutes left, I found myself running next to someone who looked kinda familiar. I asked for her name and when she said, “Mara” I literally squeaked! If you haven’t visited Medicinal Marzipan, you need to. She’s so inspiring and a blogger I was super stoked to meet!

Since I had a free drink ticket, I obviously had to get the most expensive drink I could, right? I ordered a yummy margarita.

After the social, a group of us went to Mo’s Seafood which was right around the corner.

The restaurant was, sadly, disappointing. I had high hopes for this place because many bloggers were saying they heard good reviews. My shrimp scampi linguini was pretty lame. I could have made it myself and they left the tails on. In a pasta dish, I really expect the fish to not have tails or anything I would need to take off. Some of the shrimp just looked unappetizing because they still had the veins (poo?) in them.

After dinner, we went for ice cream and then back to the hotel. I chose to go to sleep (after chatting for awhile with the roomies!). As soon as I hit the pillow, I was out. Tomorrow I’ll share our Saturday activities! Wherever you are, I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!
