Crop and class number five

Hello friends,

How are you? I just got out of the shower and rinsed off from an oh-so-sweaty Bikram class. The shower after Bikram is almost as good as the class itself! Today marked class number 5 for my challenge. Danielle was sweet enough to make us a little behavior management chart using stickers! Hey, you can never be too old for stickers :-)

She is doing 30 classes in 30 days and I am doing 20 in 29 days.

Prior to class, I had my first consultation with Katie. I was really nervous, but it went really well. I can’t wait to blog about my first impression of working with an RD.


On the 31st, Lindsay, Crystal and I made our way to a girls night at Crop Bistro and Bar. This place was huge. Lindsay and I were seated before Crystal arrived. They sat us right smack dab in the middle of the restaurant and it was a little awkward! Luckily, the place filled up fast and we felt less awkward :-)

You may or may not know this, but I have a love affair with popcorn. When I saw the Balsamic Popcorn, I knew we had to order it. Luckily, Crystal and Lindsay agreed. It was pretty fantastic…

We also ordered their deviled eggs which were beautifully presented and had prosciutto as a yummy garnish.

Crystal ordered the Ohio Ribeye, Lindsay ordered the Duck Duck Chicken, and I ordered the Pork Palliard. Holy mother of food, we all loved our dishes. Everything was presented lovely and we still had enough to take home! Sometimes, I feel that nice restaurants give such small portions. For the price, I’d prefer to have leftovers to enjoy later, don’t you agree?

For dessert, we enjoyed the Waffles and Ice Cream and Pretzel Un-logic to share. Ah-mazing.

All in all, it was a fun night. We were there for about 3 hours and talked non-stop! <3

Good luck with your challenge! I too am doing a 20 class challenge this month. I’ve completed 6 classes so far and feel great.

I really admire your commitment to Bikram. I am totally intimidated by it even though I think it would be a great for my physical and mental health.

I still have yet to try Bikram but definitely want to eventually. Let us know if you hear of any specials coming up on classes!!

Love it! And I’ve heard Crop is fantastic, now I definitely want to check it out one of these days. See you in the hot room (I look SO sweaty in that photo)
