Hello pals!
So, recently, I had a friend visit. Let’s call him Mr. Haribo. He’s very green and also very tasty. We had quite the weekend together!
We went bike riding. He felt like my seat was very comfortable.
Don’t worry, I made sure he would wear a helmet.
Throughout our visit, I learned he is very patriotic.
And enjoys reading.
Mr. Haribo made coffee too, and made a mess! The coffee was tasty though.
He also introduced me to his other friends. We had a gummi kinda party!
Unfortunately, the party had to end because Todd and I ate our new friends. Hey, for 11 of them they are only 75 calories and pretty tasty!

Hehe, yea, I’m a nerd and that’s okay.
Recently, Haribo sent me a 5 oz bag of Haribo Gold-Bears to try out and have a giveaway. To be completely honest, I was already obsessed with Haribo gummi bears because they are the gold standard – and trust me, I’m pretty picky. Reviewing the candy was not hard because I was already a fan.
The bears have the best taste and do not leave a wacky aftertaste, like many gummi bears do. The consistency is always spot on and makes you craving more. Plus, as I said above, the fact that they are only 75 calories for 11 gummy bears makes them the perfect snack to satisfy a sugar craving. I’m a sugar addict and being able to have a small serving of these is perfect for my waistline and sanity. The colors of the gummi bears are super fun as well which make them perfect for any type of event. Children love them!
(I brought some to Melanie and Nate’s on Friday night and Nate told me to hide them from Liam because he knew he would be all over them right before bed!)

I won’t eat gummy bears unless it’s Haribou. Scott also makes very tasty alki-bears by soaking them in some sort of flavorless alcohol (everclear is recommended; though I guess vodka may work too). Kind of like jello shots but cuter.
I love the bear’s story — we do something similar with this Hulk figurine I have (Traveling Hulk even has his own Traveling Gnome – yes I’m a nerd).

Yum! I can’t remember the last time I have had gummy bears, but I know a lot of runners use them as fuel! I will have to try that because when I tried GU I thought I was going to choke!
