Sheesh, I’m exhausted. I’m determined to go to bed early and rest up for the week. I feel like every Sunday night, I stay up late, wanting to savor the weekend as long as I can. But, by doing so I self-sabotage myself and my work week.
This morning, Todd left for a week. I barely remember him leaving… he woke me up around 7 am saying “Bye” but it’s all a blur. I was clearly in my happy sleepy place. It’s not too bad since he’ll be home Friday (yay!), so I’m planning to enjoy a lot of Secret Single Behavior like watching Sex and the City while eating popcorn and painting my nails. Still though, I’m looking forward to seeing him on Friday when he gets back.
Friday night, I came home from work and quickly got ready for my friend, Sonja’s, wedding held at Windows on the River in Cleveland. It’s a beautiful venue which overlooks Cleveland’s skyline. The night started out with cocktails and appetizers and then transitioned into dinner and dancing. Unfortunately, I couldn’t attend the wedding, since I could not take off work.
Sonja and I went to college at Kent State together. She and my friend Erin were childhood friends and roomed together freshman year. We were on the same floor in Terrace Hall (anyone else lived there? It’s since been torn down ) and became instant friends! I really love them both and treasure our college memories so much.

Craig and Sonja’s introduction!
Sonja looked absolutely stunning and pretty much glowed the entire night. You can tell how in love these two are.

The desserts were awesome. Not only did we get cake, but also ice cream and berries. YUM! The cake was unique, with different fruit flavors. It was totally up my alley and my taste buds were happy.

It was a really fun night! Afterwards, Todd and I went home and went to sleep super early and slept in on Saturday. It was so needed! My favorite sleep-in days are in the fall when the wind is cool and just sways throughout the apartment. I wish we could have this weather forever…
Have a great start to the week!
P.S. Since there’s so much love in this post, check out this love story in 22 pictures. It made me teary!
