Speaking My Mind

For those who blog, do you ever start writing a post and then picture one of your family members, generations away from this moment, reading your post in the future?

I do. All the time.

For future generations, please note how important it is to vote and speak your mind! Today, I voted in the 2012 election between Romney and Obama. I was looking forward to it all day. I love voting and being able to participate.

I voted in Lakewood, Ohio around 5 pm. It was a very quick experience and I did not wait in line. What a relief! Everyone was so nice and I talked to a few people in line.

Did you vote today? What was your experience like?

I voted before school around 7:30 – only waited about 30 min and made it to school on time. Hubs went right when the polls opened and saw the line was stretched around the building. He came back in the middle of the day to no line.

Our polling place is weird, too, because we have 2 precincts there. I wasn’t sure which line I was supposed to be in – glad they had maps of the neighborhoods posted.
