The one thing I hate about not blogging for more than a few days at a time is missing out on important moments and ideas that I have throughout the week. In light of the events from last week, I just haven’t been wanting to blog, when all along it could have been therapeutic; a way to focus on something positive and a way to express myself. Since I’ve missed certain things, I’m going to share with you some of the things I’ve been wanting to blog about!
First, was the Vitamix Tweet-Up. Vitamix is actually a local Cleveland company and they have a store in North Olmsted, Ohio, which is only about 20 minutes from me! Todd and I went to the event and it was the first time we’ve been to the store.
They had plenty of demonstrations about how to make a variety of different foods. From soups, to juices, and salsas, the Vitamix can do everything. I was waiting for them to tell me that in addition to blending, the Vitamix does household chores that the typical person hates Hey, a girl can dream right?
In addition to demonstrations, they had appetizers (OMG THE GUAC WAS AMAZING) and talked about different options for purchasing a Vitamix. They have payment plans and refurbished machines to help with anyone on a budget. All the sudden, a Vitamix seemed a lot more attainable for me!
Nidhi won an apron and Todd tried it on.
It was a really fun event! There were about 30 people there and they were giving away one Vitamix. Man oh man, the odds were so good – we could have won one! Maybe next year
Have you guys finished holiday shopping yet? I am almost there. I still have a few people left to buy for and I saved the most fun gifts for last. I still need to pick up a couple things for Liam and Violet. Sam, their Elf on the Shelf, reports that Liam and Violet have been good this year so they will not be receiving coal. Based on those reports, Aunt Julie will be buying them sweet gifts. Yes, I just spoke in third person.
This is Sam. A couple weeks ago, Liam showed me his latest spot on the vase.
Melanie has a large family Christmas tree and a small tree for the kids. It’s so adorable to watch them play near their tree!
That’s all for now folks…
