Out of the Ordinary Bridal Giveaway

Hi guys!

Yesterday, I came home from work and immediately ordered my new samples from the Stella & Dot Spring Collection. It took awhile to figure out what I wanted and they should be here by the 16th. Next week, I’m having a trunk show at my apt so my friends can see the new collection and my new apartment. We moved in the fall, yet I haven’t had a girlie get together. What better reason than doing a trunk show and a housewarming? Hey, it works!

{Btw, if you live in Northeast Ohio and want to come check out the jewelry/hang out/drink wine/watch Sex and the City reruns, leave a comment or email me: (wearingmascara) (at) (gmail) (dot) (com). The more the merrier! :-)}

Last night was my first Cleveland Dinner Club event {follow @CLEdinnerclub for more info!}. It was held at SOHO Kitchen & Bar which specializes in southern cuisine. On Wednesday nights, they have Chicken Scratch which includes their delicious fried chicken and side dishes. The prices were right and the food was phenomenal. I don’t think I’ve ever had better fried chicken. The best part was that the chicken breast and thigh were both boneless. The breast and drumstick I ordered provided more than enough meat and I ended up taking home the drumstick to eat for lunch. To top it off, I ordered the Smoky Mac ‘n’ Cheese and the Deviled Eggs. Both were awesome and I was pleased with the portion sizes compared to the price. For example, the Deviled Eggs included three halves (1.5 egg). I cannot wait to take Todd there!

So, I’m not engaged or getting married but I can appreciate a good wedding. Oh yes, I definitely can. In fact, I love weddings. Every time something comes in the mail labeled, “Save the Date” or “Invitation to Follow!” I become giddy. Once the wedding day arrives, I love putting on my favorite dress, wearing tons of jewelry, and taking extra time on my makeup. My favorite parts of a wedding include the look on the groom’s face when his bride first walks down the isle, the cake, and the dancing. I love everything!

That’s why when I was asked to do a giveaway from the folks at Something White, a Cleveland bridal boutique, I immediately jumped on the chance. They are holding a Boutique Bridal Bazaar on Sunday, January 20 from 12 – 4 pm at sARTspace at 78th Street Studios. The vendor list includes unique vendors to help you or a friend pull off a unique, fun, and special wedding.

For my giveaway, one winner will receive TWO tickets to attend the event.  Something White is providing me with one complimentary ticket in exchange for holding the giveaway (thank you!).

To enter, just leave a comment on this blog post. For extra entries, Tweet about the giveaway using both @wearingmascara and @somethingwhiteb. You have until Monday, January 14 at 11:59 pm EST to enter.

Feel free to enter this will a friend in mind! You can always give the pass away to a newly engaged friend or family member!

Good luck!

Julie

P.S. CLE Shopaholic is also holding a giveaway to attend!

I’m dying to go to this Bridal bazaar and of course it’s the day my family picked for my Grandma’s 70 (something, no idea how old she is. 78?) birthday dinner and immediately after I am off to visit some friends from High School that I’m luck to see once a year. Sucks that I have to miss the only Bridal show thingy I want to go to :(
The good news is I have most of my vendors already so I don’t really NEED to go, I just WANT to go. I’m such a brat ;)

Great giveaway! I’m always looking for something unique and making my “future” wedding unique is no exception. I didn’t know there were non-mainstream bazaars like this! So excited and would love to attend!
