in Deep Thoughts

Hi everyone!

First things first, the winner of my Earth Fare giveaway is Sarah! Congrats lady :-)

**********

There is SO MUCH running through my head right now and it’s all hard to keep straight. My suitcase is packed in the other room and it’s filled to the brim with summer dresses, swim suits, and flip flops. On Wednesday, I am headed to Florida for three weeks!

I am very excited for this trip and we have quite the agenda. Todd’s best friend, Shane, is getting married in Naples next Saturday and Todd is already in Florida living it up with bachelor party extravaganzas. I have one more day of work left and then I’m off until early August. I fly down Wednesday morning and then it’s fun-in-the-sun time until July 10th! Along with the wedding, we are headed to Orlando for a few nights to visit Disney!

I have never been to Disney World and am so excited to visit as an adult. Does anyone out there have any tips for us? Any must-see attractions? I think we are going to stick with Magic Kingdom and Epcot as our focuses but would love to hear other suggestions. I keep hearing that I need to reserve places in advance. Is that just for the fancy places or what? As you can see, we haven’t done a lot of planning {aside from reserving a hotel room} so any advice is more than welcome!

After Disney, we are going to hang out on the beach and just be lazy. I have several books I want to read and I can’t wait to sit back and enjoy them.

Do you have any big plans?

I have a few scheduled posts in the next few weeks, plus a really fun giveaway to my favorite event of the summer. Look for that on July 1st! Aside from that, I’ll probably be mobile blogging from my iPhone since I’m techy like that ;-)

If you want to follow my journey in real time, follow me on Twitter and Instagram! :-)

Have a wonderful few weeks and I’ll see you soon!

How fun enjoy your long vacation/celebration! I actually think it’d be pretty fun to go back to Disney as an adult. My favorite (as a second grader) was Splash Mountain. I’m fairly certain it’d still be awesome as an adult. Have fun!!!!

I haven’t been back in a few years but I remember my whole family LOVED a ride at Epcot, I believe it was called “soaring”. Also, take advantage of the fast passes so that you can get the most done in a day and not wait in lines.

Have a wonderful trip!

I went to Disney for the first time at 18-years-old and we’re planning a return trip to only Epcot for 2014… As far as tips go, I know that some people make special reservations but we never did.

Magic Kingdom is a must-do for a first time visit but Epcot is amazing. The countries are my favorite part, they do IllumiNations (a light show in the evening). We had a fantastic view from the outdoor restaurant in Mexico.
