Good morning everyone!

This post is going to be a super fun bullet point post since my mind is everywhere this morning.

  • As we speak, I am enjoying a tasty cinnamon bun from Elmwood Bakery in Lakewood. This morning, my apartment complex offered Elmwood’s baked goods and coffee for free. Have I told you how much I love my apartment? If you are looking for a good apartment in Lakewood, Ohio, with reliable and caring management, please email me and I’ll give you all the details.
  • On August 6, my friend Sarah and her boyfriend Fernando are debuting their short film, Deployment, from The 48 Hour Film Project. Written, filmed, and edited in 48 hours {woah}, Deployment is a short film about a young Marine father who is about to be deployed and his struggle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Tickets are only $10.00, and you get free parking if you validate your ticket at the box office. Get your tickets here.

  • Have you seen the new Stella & Dot fall collection? If not, you are missing out! New jewelry, new bags, new gloriousness. I highly recommend checking it out!
  • Is it possible to travel too much? I am definitely feeling it. After being in Florida for 3 weeks and then going to Chicago for a week, I am OVER traveling for awhile. Luckily, I just have one day trip left for a Pittsburgh bridal shower in August {cannot wait!} and Deer Valley in September.
  • Last night, Todd and I checked out El Carnicero in Lakewood. It was so good and we are excited to go back, especially since it’s in walking distance {score!}. Our waitress was so nice and very accommodating. You can tell there is the excitement of a new restaurant opening. We ordered the machaca and el cordero taquitos with a side of their traditional guacamole. I don’t know about you, but I love dipping. I love making my own taquitos and dipping chips into salsas and guac.

  • Todd and I are currently in the process of picking out a reception hall for our fall 2014 wedding. Can someone just do this for me? Can you go and talk to the representatives, look at the menus, and tell me what tastes good and make sure they aren’t screwing us when it comes to hidden costs? Can you make sure our guests will be comfortable and our day will be memorable? I’m seriously sick of it. Unfortunately, I did not get the “wedding planning” gene that most women have. Although, I do believe after we pick the reception hall, things will be a lot easier. {Even if that isn’t the case, will you just lie to me and tell me they get easier? Thanks.}

Have a really great day, everyone!

I wish I could pick your place for you b/c I know what a pain in the ass it was for us!! But our places were all too far east or south for you soooooo….you’re on your own!! Once this is done, you get to move on to all the fun stuff like the dress! and cake! and flowers! All are much much better, I promise. :)

Wedding planning makes me so nervous for my future experience with all of that! I’m secretly hoping to be a bridesmaid in a friends wedding first so I can get a taste of what all it entails because I would be totally clueless. Good luck though – I’m sure even though it’s stressful, it’s still fun & exciting!

Oh girl, I just want to POINT AND LAUGH AT YOU because seriously…. oh, naive one. I can’t even believe how FAST place book up, and just…. WOOF. But for real, I’m already missing wedding-planning and mine isn’t even over yet. TRYYYYY to enjoy it, especially right after you book the big things and have some time to relax. Best feeling EVER, and it never comes again!
