Thanksgiving night

Hi friends!

Today was absolutely perfect. Last night, Dan and I got our baking/cooking finished and this morning we headed over to his parents house for a feast. I cooked pumpkin pie (it was a hit!) and m&m cookies (they tasted salty to me… don’t ever use self-rising flour if the recipe calls for all-purpose flour – bad idea!). Salad was on my morning agenda and I cut that up right before we ate. Yum, yum, yum. Dan did his famous macaroni and cheese and it tasted marvelous as always. After eating, we all sat down to watch movies and hang out. Soon, I fell right asleep and slept for I don’t know how long. O, lazy days.

Tonight, Tysons Corner hosted a midnight madness shopping event. I wanted to go so bad with my friend Rachel. However, last minute she came down with a sinus infection (poor thing!). So, I was without a shopping buddy and clearly sad but Dan ended up coming shopping with me (it meant a lot – he hates shopping!).

My favorite find of the night was this dress from The Limited (in black, not teal as shown here):

I love it! The bottom is so flirty and fun. With the combination of a coupon and their 40% off sale, I scored this dress for only about $30.
