I started this blog in August 2008 because I’ve always secretly wanted to start a blog and have been envious of those who had one. I named this blog “Wearing Mascara” because I wear mascara rather confidently. I bet you have something you wear too. Maybe you should blog about it.

My life is always changing so I’m sure this section will be updated frequently. Currently, I am a misunderstood graduate student in psych*logy. I use asterisks because I’d prefer to not be googled about anything related to my work or school life. I’m fluent in American S*gn L*nguage and therefore move my hands uncontrollably at times. I also type really strangely and people comment about it because I use both my index fingers instead of most of my fingers like normal people do.

My boyfriend is Dan. He and I have been dating for 3-years now and I we have a crazy yet awesome relationship. He started as a friend and now is my love. The best part about him is that his beard is a cool reddish color and his hair is a darker brownish blond so they don’t match.

Most of my family lives in Pennsylvania and Ohio while I live in Washington, DC. I have one pet rat named Spencer. Rats are amazing so please don’t discriminate against them. Don’t tell me that my hamster is cute and then when you realize it’s a rat you think it’s ugly. I would never tell you your husband is cute and then when I find out he’s a dog change my mind now would I?

I love to take pictures too but I’m not going to act like a professional because I’m far from it. Also with school on my plate it’s difficult for me to go out and shoot. Hopefully this hobby of mine will develop.
